Ring in spring with bright and cheery flower cupcakes from the bakers at FamilyFun magazine.
Even if you're still seeing snow this month, you can sweeten the mood by making these springtime confections for your family and friends.
Baking supplies:
- Cupcake mix (from the box or your favorite recipe!)
- White/Vanilla icing
- Flower shaped jujubes
- M&M minis
- green jujubes
- Black licorice rope
- Fruit leather
- Kitchen Scissors
Decorating How -To:
1. Frost as many cupcakes as you need (for it to feel like spring :)
2. Cut your flower-shaped jujubes in half with your kitchen shears (width-wise) and "glue" mini M&Ms on to the flowers using a dab of icing
3. For leaves, cut green jujubes in half with your kitchen shears and then cut into thirds. Place next to flowers.
4. Cut licorice to size and place as an arch over the cupcake, add a fruit bow.
5. Devour and think about warmer weather.
